Itinerary
Day 1 Airport to Negombo
Arrive at Colombo International Airport with welcome assistance and transfer to Negombo, about 20 minutes away, to rest after your flight. In the late afternoon, take a boat out on the Negombo Lagoon or walk along the beach.
Day 2 Negombo to Sigiriya
See the morning catch come in at the Negombo fish market, then drive to Sigiriya. In the late afternoon, climb Pidurangala Rock for the sunset view over Sigiriya Lion Rock.
Day 3 Sigiriya
Climb Sigiriya Lion Rock (an ancient rock fortress and UNESCO World Heritage Site) in the cool of the morning and take a traditional village tour by bullock cart and boat. End the day with a jeep safari in Minneriya, Kaudulla or Hurulu, whichever park the elephant herds are in that week.
Day 4 Polonnaruwa
Cycle through the ruins of Polonnaruwa, the medieval royal capital, from the stone Buddhas of the Gal Vihara to the ancient Parakrama Samudra reservoir.
Day 5 Sigiriya to Kandy
Visit the Dambulla cave temple (the Golden Temple) and a spice garden, then continue to Kandy for the Dalada Maligawa (the Temple of the Tooth) and an evening cultural dance performance.
Day 6 Kandy to Nuwara Eliya
Climb the spiral staircase of Ambuluwawa Tower, stop at Ramboda Waterfalls and visit a tea plantation and factory, then stroll around Gregory Lake in Nuwara Eliya, Sri Lanka's “Little England”.
Day 7 Horton Plains
Leave early for Horton Plains National Park and the walk to World's End and Baker's Falls (about 3 hours), then visit the Seetha Amman Temple and Hakgala Botanical Garden in the afternoon.
Day 8 Nuwara Eliya to Ella
Take the scenic train from Nanu Oya through the tea country to Ella, then watch the train cross the Nine Arch Bridge.
Day 9 Ella
Climb Little Adam's Peak for the sunrise and visit Ravana Falls, or take the Ella Rock hike instead (4 to 5 hours return).
Day 10 Ella to Yala
Visit Diyaluma Falls (Sri Lanka's second-highest waterfall) or Ellawela Falls, then enjoy an afternoon jeep safari in Yala National Park, home to 44 varieties of mammals and 215 species of birds.
Day 11 Yala to Mirissa
Drive west along the coast to Mirissa, stopping at Coconut Tree Hill, and spend the afternoon on the beach.
Day 12 Mirissa
Head out early on a whale-watching boat (the season runs from about November to April), then relax at Secret Beach or take a surf lesson in nearby Weligama.
Day 13 Galle and Unawatuna
Try the rope swing over the sea at Dalawella beach, swim at Unawatuna and spend the late afternoon in Galle Fort, a UNESCO-listed Dutch fort town with ramparts, a lighthouse and café-lined lanes.
Day 14 Mirissa to Airport
Drive up the coast to the Kosgoda sea turtle conservation centre and take a Madu River mangrove boat safari before your airport departure.

Booking Terms
A 60% deposit is required via bank transfer to confirm your booking, with the remaining 40% balance due in cash upon arrival.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 22 or more days before arrival are 50% refundable. Cancellations made within 21 days of arrival are non-refundable.
