Day 3 & 4 – Nuwara Eliya

- Lover’s Leap Waterfall: This waterfall sits near Pedro Tea Estate, so you can stop by on your way out. It’s a beautiful sight to behold, and the walk down the path leading to the waterfall is just as exciting.
- Nuwara Eliya Post Office: Built in 1894, the local post office is one of the oldest buildings in the town. The colonial-style building represents a blend of English and Sri Lankan culture.
Day 5 & 6 – Ella
Your outdoor adventures continue for the next two days, but this time, the destination is Ella. The city offers its fair share of tea plantations, hiking routes, and waterfalls (especially Diyaluma Falls). It’s a laid-back area that serves as the perfect escape from city life and harsh weather.
The following are some of Ella’s top attractions:
- Nine Arch Bridge: This architectural marvel is flanked by vast forests and tea plantations. It was built out of bricks and rocks in 1921 and does not contain metal. You may see trains passing over the bridge if you’re lucky.
- Little Adam’s Peak: Hike along the easiest trail in town to the top of the hill, where you can see the awe-inspiring landscape.
- Ella to Badulla Train Route: Ride the short Ella to Badulla train route, which passes over the Nine Arch Bridge. It offers the perfect opportunity to take pictures and interact with locals.
Day 7 & 8 – Galle
