About Colombo Port City

Colombo Port City is an initiative for Sri Lanka’s economic development as a business hub. This Island is worth visiting for visitors and tourists as it offers beautiful waterfront resorts, a duty-free mall, and the first-ever yacht marina in Sri Lanka. From adventures and thrill activities, you can also explore the wonderful locations of the city, luxury restaurants, malls, beaches, and other attractions, This place has so many distractions for tourists.   

Colombo Port City allowed only four-wheel vehicles to enter; you can not get there by walking or using two or three-wheel vehicles through Gate no: 2, but Port City Marina Promenade is open for all through Gate no: 1. 

Location

Colombo Port City is located near Galle Face Green, Central Business District. This land meets the Indian Ocean, and this project fulfils the residential, recreational, and commercial goals.

Activities   

Here are some recommended activities you can explore at Colombo Port City. 

• Port City Footbridge, the beautiful bridge located in Colombo Port City, is a step of China and the Sri Lankan government.
• ATV 4×4 Experience, for those who love adventures, can explore riding on the tracks in the hills. Track A is recommended for beginners, Track B is for mid-levels, and Track C is suggested for the Pro.  
• The Beach Park is great for beach lovers. You can visit there with a bunch of friends, families, and your favorite pets. Here, you can explore Beach volleyball, the Dog’s play area, kayak fishing, Paddle boarding, Sea kayaking, Kitesurfing, and many more fun activities. 
• Port City Public Area / Artificial Beach: You can explore this beautiful place, including restaurants, with free entrance, but you have to make a pre-reservation through the mobile app.
• SpeedBay, Port City Colombo: Those who are thrill enthusiasts must visit SpeedBay, located in Port City Colombo, near the Beach Plaza Car Park. While karting, you can explore the beautiful views of the city. For your safety, they also provide you with shoes, helmets, and gloves. 
• The Bay Golf Club has amazing views of the island and is located in Colombo Port City Marina.
• Club House: This place must be visited by water sports lovers as you can explore here Wind Surfing, Sailing, Speed Boat Rides, Stand-up Paddle, Jet Skiing, etc. 

Opening Times   

The Colombo Port City will be open from 7:30 AM to 8:45 PM. 

Tickets

No tickets are required to enter Colombo Port City, entry is free. You just have to make the pre-reservation with the Port City mobile app.  

Yacht

You can experience the first-ever Yacht marina in Colombo Port City, Sri Lanka and can view the beauty of the city through the sea. To visit a yacht, don’t forget to make a reservation before and arrive 30 minutes early.  It is a preferable place for small events, family gatherings, corporate gatherings, etc. You can enjoy stand-up paddle boarding and a sea bath on the artificial beach. Also, the staff will instruct and navigate on a yacht.
